Meet Our Staff

Dr. Steven J. Fishman, M.D.

Steven Fishman, MD is a Board Certified Dermatologist who was born and raised in Liberty, NY.  A  humble, country boy at heart, Dr. Fishman feels it’s important Catskill Dermatology serves the local, rural community.  He graduated from Hobart College Cum Laude before attending the prestigious Mount Sinai School of Medicine.

In medical school, through fate, Dr. Fishman became acquainted with Dermatology and published the first of many Dermatologic research papers. Dr. Fishman also was awarded the American Dermatological Association Medical Student Research Fellowship.
After graduating medical school, Dr. Fishman left the New York area to complete a residency in Dermatology at Tulane University Medical Center in New Orleans. Dr. Fishman presented his dermatologic research to the Southern Medical Association, Society of Investigative Dermatology and American Academy of Dermatology. Additionally, he underwent a great deal of training in Dermatologic Surgery and Dermatologic Cosmetic Surgery.

Dr. Fishman has been in practice for over 30 years and is extremely experienced having worked a full schedule almost every day.  He has another practice in the Hamptons.

Steven Fishman, MD is an Assistant Clinical Professor at Mount Sinai Hospital where he teaches Dermatologic Surgery to residents in the Mount Sinai program. He also “gives back” by teaching Medical Students, Interns and Residents at all of his offices helping foster their careers.

Allyson Walsh, FNP

Allyson Walsh was born and raised in Monmouth County, NJ, and attended The College of New Jersey and Rutgers University, obtaining two bachelor’s degrees in nursing and health and exercise physiology. During her time as a registered nurse, Allyson worked in a busy medical and cardiac intensive care unit at a local trauma center. She then went on to pursue her dream of becoming a nurse practitioner by returning to The College of New Jersey and obtaining her master’s degree as a family nurse practitioner. During her studies, Allyson developed a passion for skin and wound management and completed a research study on the management of device-related pressure ulcers within the ICU. Allyson graduated with honors and was inducted into the Nursing National Honors Society, Sigma Theta Tau.

Prior to joining Catskill Dermatology, Allyson honed her clinical skills working as an emergency department nurse practitioner and wound care nurse practitioner at a regional medical center. She is certified by the American Academy of Family Nurse Practitioners and is a member of the National Academy of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners. Allyson can perform in-office procedures and recommend the best treatment for all your skin, hair, and dermatological needs.

Loree Ann Stanton, RN-HT

Loree Ann Stanton was born and raised in Liberty, NY, and graduated with a Regents diploma from Liberty High School, majoring in science and minoring in business. She attended and graduated from Sullivan County’s first licensed practical nursing program. She then went on to pursue her degree as a registered nurse at Sullivan County Community College, graduating with high honors.

Loree Ann is also a certificated histotechnologist and a study coordinator for research groups interested in the newest biologic drugs for the treatment of psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. She developed a special interest in cosmetic dermatology during the first year at our practice and has studied many aspects of cosmetic dermatology. Count on her to recommend the best therapy method for your skin, hair, and nails.

Loree Ann holds certifications for our diode and intense pulse light lasers and has successfully finished training courses for Botox, Dysport, Blu Lite/photodynamic therapy, and various volumizing fillers.

Marijane Tinoco,
Physician Assistant

Marijane Tinoco is a physician assistant, certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).

Prior to her current role, Ms. Tinoco has held healthcare roles as a nursing assistant at Health Alliance of the Hudson Valley located in Kingston, N.Y. and as a dental assistant at Tinoco Simbol Dental Care located in Harbor City, California.

In addition to her healthcare roles, Ms. Tinoco has also volunteered with the New Paltz Youth Program in New Paltz, N.Y.; the Oncology Unit with the Health Alliance of the Hudson Valley in Kingston, N.Y.; and with HOPE WorldWide: Medical Brigade located in the Philippines.

She also holds clinical training in general surgery, family medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, emergency medicine, internal medicine, psychiatry, geriatric medicine, and orthopedics.

Ms. Tinoco earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University in Brooklyn, N.Y. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology with a Minor in Psychology from SUNY New Paltz in New Paltz, N.Y.

In addition to being an NCCPA certified physician assistant, Ms. Tinoco is also certified in CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) by the American Heart Association. She is also a member of The American Academy of PAs (AAPA).

Hui Lin, Physician Assistant

Hui Lin was born and raised in China where she received her training as an ophthalmologist for years. She continued to conduct translational medical research at Johns Hopkins University after she received her Ph.D. in stem cell biology. She decided to come back to direct patient care and attended the University of Nebraska Medical Center PA program and graduated with distinction. During her journey, Hui recognized her consistent passion for skin diseases and joined Catskill Dermatology to pursue her career in dermatology.

Hui is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA). Hui is highly skilled in in-office procedures, surgeries, and treatment strategies for all dermatological conditions.

Jennifer Thornell, PA-C

Jennifer Thornell, PA-C was born and raised in Bennington Vermont. She attended Kings College in Wilkes-Barre Pennsylvania graduating in 1998 with bachelors degree in physician assisting. 


She practiced orthopedic trauma for two years in Allentown Pennsylvania. She then moved to New York where she practiced emergency medicine and urgent care medicine at multiple hospitals and practices in Orange and Sullivan county.


She is an established physician assistant in these communities for 23 years.


She’s also certified in BLS, ACLS and PALS.


She is excited to have the opportunity to pursue her passion for Dermatology and become a part of the Catskill Dermatology family.
